LANSING, Mich. — Temperatures tonight will be the coldest they have been all season, with those away from Lake Michigan falling a few degrees below zero. Wind chills could be as cold as -15° by morning. This will be the worst of the cold stretch, as things will only get better from here. Temperatures over the next few days will climb through the 20s, getting towards the freezing mark by Sunday. Snow chance will remain minimal for the rest of the week, with only some flurries Thursday and light lake-effect on Friday.

TONIGHT: Clear to partly cloudy and dry. Bitter cold temperatures with low temperatures below zero. Winds out of the south/southeast around 5 mph. Wind chills as cold as -10° to -15° by morning.

WEDNESDAY: Cold morning with temps below zero. Partly cloudy to partly sunny early. Becoming mostly cloudy by the evening. Evening flurries possible. Highs in the lower 20s. Winds southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Flurries possible away from Lake Michigan. Highs in the mid 20s.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with the chance of snow showers. Highs in the mid 20s.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy to partly sunny. Highs in the mid 20s.

SATURDAY: Mostly to partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 20s.
