LANSING, Mich. — Mostly clear skies this morning is giving us temperatures in the upper teens and lower 20s with areas of fog and frost. Expect sunshine today with high temps in the low 40s! Light rain/snow showers are possible late tonight into early Saturday morning, but nothing heavy is expected. Snowfall up to an inch is possible in Oceana, Newaygo and Mecosta counties. Temperatures may reach the upper 40s near 50 degrees by the end of the weekend. Most of the daylight hours over the weekend will remain dry! More mild temperatures, above normal, are likely into the first week of March (next week).
TODAY: Areas of dense fog or freezing fog this morning, otherwise sunny to mostly sunny and pleasant with highs in the lower 40s. South-southeasterly wind at 5 to 15 mph.
TONIGHT: Light rain/snow mix develops. Lows in the lower 30s. Southeast/south winds 5 to 10 mph.
SATURDAY: Light rain/snow mix/freezing rain chances early in the morning, otherwise becoming partly sunny. Highs in the mid 40s. Winds southwest at 5 to 10 mph.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny and mild with a stray sprinkle/shower possible. Highs in the upper 40s near 50 degrees. Becoming windy too.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy. A bit cooler temperature with highs in the upper 30s.
TUESDAY: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny. A little warmer temperatures with highs in the mid 40s.
