Lansing Area League of Women Voters’ Climate Change Forum

LANSING, Mich. — “Climate Change: Crisis and Opportunity” is the theme of a League of Women Voters of the Lansing Area public forum from 7:00 – 9:00 PM Thursday, September 26 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 800 Abbot Road, East Lansing.

Experts addressing different aspects of the climate change issue will be

  • State Climatologist and MSU Professor Dr. Jeff Andresen
  • Christian Gaian Smith, lead designer of Sylvan’s NeighborWood in Chelsea
  • Missy Stults, City of Ann Arbor Sustainability and Innovations Manager

    They’ll discuss what is precipitating climate change and how some individuals and communities large and small are meeting the challenge.

Marshall Clabeaux of Sunrise will give a brief assessment of BWL’s Integrated Resource Plan.
