OLIVET, Mich. — The Olivet College Gospel Choir will perform at the Greater Community Missionary Baptist Church (GCMBC) Saturday, April 4 at 5 p.m. The GCMBC is located at 16900 Puritan Ave., Detroit, Michigan. The concert is free and open to the public.
“This concert will be unique as it is our second annual ‘Family Night.’ Students will be inviting their family members to not just watch, but to sing, play, lead or direct music for and with the Gospel Choir! The Gospel Choir has so many talented individuals, and we know many of their gifts were supported by parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles,” said Gospel Choir Director La’Rae Trice. “Many have cousins, siblings and God-siblings they sing with while they’re home. We are so excited to invite them to praise and worship with us once again!”
