8th Annual Festival of Trees
Recurring weekly on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday through Jan 01, 2020
Location: Turner-Dodge House and Heritage Center
Address: 100 E. North St. Lansing, MI
Admission: $5.00 admission at the door, Children 12 and under are free

The Friends of Turner-Dodge House and Lansing Parks and Recreation are hosting the 8th annual Festival of Trees. Holiday trees by various businesses, organizations and individuals adorn all 3 floors of the historic mansion. The Festival of Trees opens to the public on Saturday December 7th and runs thru Wednesday January 1st. Hours are Tuesday- Thursday 1:00-7:00 PM, Friday-Sunday 12:00-5:00 PM. The Festival will be open Christmas Eve and Day and New Year’s Eve and Day from 12:00-5:00 PM. $5.00 admission at the door, Children 12 and under are free. Proceeds from the Festival of Trees benefit the continued restoration and preservation of Lansing’s historic Turner-Dodge House.

Admission: $46 per person

Join us for an Evening of Dancing, Fun, Mystery & Delight. Brighten up the Winter on the dance floor to a variety of Jazz, Pop, Blues and R&B. Follow along in Ball Room Dancing, Hustles and Stepping led by some of Lansing's Top Instructors. Enjoy dramatic readings of Maya Angelou, Rudyard Kipling and other great poets. A portion of proceeds from this event will be donated to the Women's Center of Greater Lansing. And of course we will be cruising assuming the river isn't frozen.

Holiday Open House
Location: MSU Bug House

Address: 288 Farm Ln., Room 147 Natural Science Building Michigan State University East Lansing, MI
Admission: free

Join us at the Bug House on MSU campus for our annual Holiday open house on Saturday, Dec. 28 from 1:00-4:00 pm. We have fantastic displays of insects from all over the world and live insects and arthropods that you can see, touch and hold. Admission is free and all ages are welcome! Most parking is free on campus on the weekend. Hope to see you there!

The last Sunday of every month is Kids Day in Old Town!

The Cosmos: Kids eat free on Sundays

The Grid: Kids (with adult) are welcome at the Grid the last Sunday of every month.
