Planetarium Thursday Public Show: Jupiter Up Close

Jupiter is the largest planet in our grand solar system, and it holds many mysteries beneath its clouds and throughout its dozens of moons. Even though Jupiter orbits nearly 500 million miles away from the Sun, NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory challenged themselves to send a space probe to the gas giant and see what answers they could find. This spacecraft, named Juno, arrived at Jupiter in 2016 and has witnessed one fantastic sight after another. Join us for an exploration of Juno’s journey and see the wonders of Jupiter for yourself!

Mid-Michigan Bluegrass & Folk Jam Concert
November 17 - 2-6 PM
Mid-Michigan Folkgrass Jam has become a tradition at Woldumar Nature Center, offering hours of entertainment for musicians and music lovers alike!
Bring your instrument to participate in informal jam sessions throughout the nature center, or simply enjoy the concert in the upstairs of the barn (elevator service is available).
Requested donation of $2/students and seniors, $4 for adults. Kids are free. Proceeds make these events possible and help support the nonprofit Woldumar Nature Association and its mission: "To educate people about the natural environment."
