MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Leaves of red and gold decorate the trees, flowers have gone to seed and animals prepare for winter. Enjoy nature in autumn on a guided walk with a naturalist on Sunday October 13th at 2 pm at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road in Meridian Township. “Autumn is a beautiful time of the year to walk in the woods and a great time to view the plants and animals there,” said Nature Center Coordinator Kati Adams.
The Harris Nature Center holds guided walks throughout the year with various themes based on the seasons or nature topics.
