BRIGHTON, Mich. — Veterans, beer enthusiasts, and the general public are welcome and encouraged to attend the 1 st Annual Brighton Boots and Brews Pub Crawl on Saturday November 9th, from 12pm6pm in downtown Brighton! The event is held right after the Veterans Day Parade that begins at 11am. The organizers are a local Livingston County veteran non-profit called VETLIFE.
Vice President of VETLIFE Joe Riker said, “Boots and Brews is a fun and new way for the public to assist in fundraising for future veteran resource events in our wonderful community.” By purchasing tickets, the attendees of Boots and Brews will have a chance to enjoy an afternoon of camaraderie while enjoying a variety of bars and discounted drinks/food throughout downtown Brighton. It is sure to be a great time for all participants and everyone is encouraged to wear boots or patriotic outfits!
The purpose of Boots and Brews Pub Crawl is to bring the community together for a single purpose, supporting our veterans and their families. VETLIFE President Cortnie Parish said, “We’re thankful for the community support we’ve received already. We have nine downtown bars currently on board that are excited for the event. Brighton Chamber of Commerce has been a great asset and KNE Realty 360 really stepped up as our event sponsor!” Parish also mentioned that everything is ready to go and tickets are on sale now.
This is only the first year of Boots and Brews Pub Crawl and a large turnout is expected. You are encouraged to purchase the tickets in advance, if possible, to get the best ticket price. Purchasing tickets in advance helps the organizers’ planning process and makes for a successful and enjoyable event.
