“The instructors will have their Samoyed dogs here for the program and participants will learn how to harness them and hook the dogs up to the sled,” said Senior Park Naturalist Kati Adams. “This is a great opportunity for people to find out how to get started in the sport of dog sledding.”
Adams also advises participants to dress appropriately for the weather and leave their own dogs at home. The fee is $15/ person and the class is for adults only. Space is limited, so contact 517.349.3866 to register today.
