LANSING, Mich. — Due to the recommendation by the Governor and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Impression 5 Science Center will be temporarily closing its doors in an effort to proactively support all measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our community. This closure—which includes general operations, programs, community outreaches, etc.—will take effect Saturday, March 14 through April 13, at which point Impression 5 will determine the need for an extended closure timeline.
Impression 5 Science Center exists in this community to serve families and provide experiences that connect individuals to science in meaningful ways—but at this time, the best way to serve is to put the health and safety of our members, guests, and staff first.
Staff members will continue to monitor the situation and use the information and tools provided by local, state, and national health officials to make informed decisions about moving forward and our next steps. Impression 5 is committed to providing up-to-date information for members and guests at impression5.org [impression5.org].
Impression 5 Science Center is proud to be a part of this beautiful and resilient greater Lansing community, and is ready to do what is necessary to help mitigate local risk.
