Jackson Chamber Congratulates Jackson College Jets Trail on Their Ribbon Cutting

JACKSON, Mich. — The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Jackson College Jets Trail on their Premier Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, October 29th. The event took place at 2111 Emmons Rd., Jackson, MI 49201.

Jackson College invited the public to celebrate the Grand Opening of their new Jets trail for students and the public to get some exercise. A short ceremony was held from the President and CEO of Jackson College, Dr. Daniel Phelan followed by John Crist, Vice Chairman, Debbie Schissler, Institutional Effectiveness Specialist, Jonathan Marowelli, Provost and Vice President and Julie Bloomfield, health coach. The ribbon was then cut, and the group walked the trail.

“We are delighted to have added the Jets Trail to further complement our work in providing our students, our employees and the community with healthy lifestyle options, as well as to support the College’s athletic program. We welcome our neighbors and the Jackson community to come take a walk and enjoy the beauty of our campus.” Said by Jackson College President, Daniel Phelan.
