MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — On Saturday, February 29th at 2:00 pm, participants can enjoy learning about the reason for Leap Year through hands-on activities and a guided nature walk at the Harris Nature Center (3998 Van Atta Road) in Meridian Township.
“In addition to learning about leap year, visitors will engage in activities that help them understand how animals leap great distances,” said Park Naturalist Allison Goodman. “We’ll also hit the trail for a short walk in search of leaping animals.”
