LANSING, Mich. — Change Media Group, a national advertising and creative agency headquartered in Lansing’s REO Town neighborhood, was recently recognized as one of the nation’s top 500 fastest-growing private companies by Inc. magazine.
CMG, ranked No. 329 overall, is one of 10 companies from Michigan in the top 500 – and the only company from Lansing.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the top 500 fastest-growing private companies in America,” said Amanda Stitt, CEO of CMG. “At Change Media Group, we are proud of our work, the clients we serve and the state we are located in. This honor reflects a lot of hard work and is a testament to our talented team.”
Founded in 2012, CMG has worked with more than 300 clients across 29 states in the nonprofit, labor union, advocacy, campaign, higher education and government sectors. CMG’s clients include Lansing’s Care Free Medical, Detroit’s A. Philip Randolph Career and Technical Center and CalEITC4Me, a nationally recognized earned income tax credit advocacy group in California.
“Small, thriving, locally owned businesses are vital to the success of our region,” said Bob Trezise, president and CEO of the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP). “Inc. magazine is amplifying what we’ve always known about Change Media Group — they do good, important work that effects change. We’re proud they represent Lansing as one of the top 500 fastest-growing private companies in the nation.”
Focusing on a personalized approach for its clients, CMG grounds its work in research, award-winning creative, data and testing.
“I am proud of Change Media Group and their well-deserved recognition,” said Lansing Mayor Andy Schor. “CMG understands the importance of creativity and storytelling, and that is reflected in their results for clients in Lansing and beyond. Lansing’s time is now because of our tremendous local talent doing great work every day.”
To celebrate its recognition, CMG is hosting a media event from 9–10 a.m. Oct. 2 at 1000 S. Washington Ave. in Lansing’s REO Town.
The event will feature Mayor Schor, CMG CEO Stitt, Change Media Group’s president, Ryan Irvin, and Trezise.
