OLIVET, Mich — The Olivet College Gospel Choir will perform at the Greater Community Missionary Baptist Church (GCMBC) Saturday, April 6 at 5 p.m. The GCMBC is located at 16900 Puritan Ave., Detroit, Michigan. The concert is free and open to the public.
“This concert will be unique as it is our very first ‘Family Night.’ Students will be inviting their family members to not just watch, but sing along! The Gospel Choir has so many talented individuals. What I’m learning is a lot of these students’ gifts were passed down by their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles,” said Gospel Choir Director La’Rae Trice. “Many have cousins, siblings and God-siblings they sing with while they’re home. I think it’ll be great to invite them to praise and worship with us!”
