OLIVET, Mich. — Olivet College vocalist Ta’Neeka DeMyers will perform her Senior Recital on Sunday, April 5 at 2:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Upton Conservatory Recital Hall at Olivet College, 502 S. Main St., Olivet, Michigan. There is no cost to attend.
“I have always loved pouring my heart out on stage,” DeMyers said. “The opportunity to practice what it would be like in the real world if I become a professional singer or worship leader is such a great experience for me. Music is my love. If I could do this for a living, God willing, that would be a dream come true! I want to encourage people to attend my performance to show love and support and to witness how much music means to me. I want people to feel encouraged, happy, blessed, loved and excited after this event. I want them to feel how I feel on stage — at home.”
DeMyers, from Lansing, will perform classical, spiritual, gospel, worship and, her favorite, musical theater songs.
