MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Curious preschool children will enjoy hands-on science exploration activities at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road, in Meridian Township on Thursday, October 3rd at 1-2 pm. This month’s Preschool Science Exploration theme is Animals in Autumn. The program is designed for 4-5 year old children. The fee is $3/child and is due at the time of the program. “Preschoolers love learning about animals,” said Senior Park Naturalist Kati Adams, “and so this month, during Animals in Autumn, they will discover the many ways that animals change as the autumn days get colder.”
Each Preschool Science class has a different science topic and will always include a walk in addition to the science activities.
