LANSING, Mich. — What: Come join the best party of the year as Michigan State University students dance their hearts out during a day-long dance marathon to raise awareness and money for the young Patients at Sparrow.

The event benefits the Sparrow Children’s Center. It’s a great way to change lives and be part of something life-changing as participants stay on their feet for up to 10 hours.

The marathon is held at colleges nationwide and is the largest fundraiser in the Big Ten.

The Dance Marathon movement has raised more than $100 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1991. Students will be available for interviews and there are excellent video possibilities of the dancers in action.

Where: IM Circle, MSU.

When: Saturday, Feb. 16, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Additional information: A representative of the Sparrow Foundation will be present and facilitate media interviews.
