Tails of Michigan Wildlife at the Harris Nature Center

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Families can spend time participating in nature activities and discover what woodpeckers and opossums have in common at the Harris Nature Center, 3998 Van Atta Road in Meridian Township, on Sunday September 29th at 2 pm. There is a $3/person or $7/family fee due at the time of the program. For more information, contact hnc@meridian.mi.us or 517.349.3866.

“Animals’ tails can help them with balance and propulsion, as well as many other things,” said Nature Center Coordinator Kati Adams. “At this program, families will engage in hands-on nature activities to learn more about these fascinating appendages.”
