LANSING, Mich. — There’s nothing better than free buttermilk pancakes to start the day – unless you can also support children’s health at the same time.

Tuesday, Feb. 25, is IHOP Free Pancake Day and the East Lansing and Jackson IHOPs will serve free short stack of pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In return, guests are asked to help make a difference by leaving a donation to benefit the Sparrow Children’s Center, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Since its first Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP has helped raised more than $30 million for its charity partners. Sparrow is a leader in caring for children.

The first hospital in Mid-Michigan to offer a dedicated children’s unit, Sparrow is home to the region’s only full-service pediatric emergency department.
