LANSING, Mich. — There’s nothing quite like the spectacle of the Spartan Marching Band playing rousing tunes in a beautiful backyard setting on a fall afternoon during football season, especially when it benefits the young Patients at Sparrow.
The 17th Annual Spartan Marching Band for Kids Concert – generously presented by Dean Transportation -- includes great music, food, exciting auction items, and a chance to mingle with favorite MSU coaches. The event, in front of hundreds of attendees, benefits the Sparrow Children’s Center and MSU Spartan Marching Band.
The concert features patriotic music, spirited band tunes, and the ever-popular MSU Fight Song, all ringing through an Okemos neighborhood.
Where: Home of Tim and Cathy Staudt.
When: Sunday, Sept. 8, 2 p.m.
