You Can Decorate Your Yard With Unicorn And Dragon Skeletons This Halloween

It may not even be summer yet, but if you ask me, it’s never too soon to start thinking about Halloween.

My dislike of summer is no secret — I basically complain about heat and bugs the entire time — so the sooner fall gets here, the happier I am.

Halloween means more than just near-perfect weather, however. From candy to costumes, scary flicks to spooky songs, it’s at the top of my list when it comes to holidays.

If, like me, you’re already planning your decorations for the coming holiday, I have some exciting news.

Oriental Trading, who gave us a fabulous mermaid skeleton decoration last year, has done it again, this time with two mythical skeletal beings to choose from: unicorns and dragons!

Both skeletons are $69.99, plus shipping, and are made of plastic, which means you can put them indoors or outside. The unicorn measures 43″ x 27″ while the dragon is a bit bigger at 49″ x 36″.

I have to say, while the unicorn is actually a bit cute with its shiny horn, the dragon is quite terrifying.

With fangs the size of fingers, horns and bony wings, you’ll definitely want the dragon if you’re looking for some screams this Halloween.

You can also still buy the mermaid skeleton and a few other new ones, like this pretty creepy two-headed life-size human skeleton for $49.99.

Oriental Trading tells Simplemost there will also be other skeletons added to their website in the months leading up to Halloween, including a monkey and a life-sized cyclops.

If you want to keep your skeleton theme going, you can also order a bag of one dozen skulls for just $15.29 or a bag of bones, which is a complete skeleton that’s been dismantled, for $32.99.

If you prefer fancy skeletons, you can also find a life-size skeleton colored gold!

Will you be going all out with the skeleton theme this Halloween?
